- Maxxon Acousti-Mat II Sound Control System
- Maxxon Gyp-Crete 2000 Underlayment
- Approx 20,000 square feet at a thickness ranging from 1" to 3"
- Building served as a warehouse prior to being transformed into condos
- Substrate was old timber construction (2x4’s on edge)
- The Acousti-Mat II sound control system was ideal for this building, as the underside of each floor was to remain original (sound control must be from the top)
- The Acousti-Mat II together with 1" minimum Gyp-Crete 2000 can produce an STC rating of 50 in this assembly.
