Durwest Construction has been installing the Maxxon family of underlayments since the company was formed. Maxxon is the pioneer and leader in flooring underlayments, first introducing Gyp-Crete to the marketplace over thirty years ago. Today, Maxxon continues to lead the way with extensive research and development and has extended their product line to include a full complement of Gypsum and Cementitious underlayments and Sound Isolation mats that are used in conjunction with the underlayments.

LEED & "Green" Underlayments from Maxxon Corporation

Maxxon Corporation and Durwest Construction offer a full line of "Green" underlayments and acoustical isolation systems. These products are available with recycled materials, are locally manufactured and are registered with the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute for having low VOC content. These products will help contribute to valuable LEED points on LEED projects.

A complete line of Sound Isolation Systems are available to meet all you sound control needs that will help your project meet its STC and IIC noise ratings. Mats are available from 1/16” of an inch to ¾" thickness.
